Are you facing struggles trying to find a solution to a problem? Money will be able to solve a lot of problems. Even though money is not the ultimate solution, I believe that the lack of money is the root cause of many problems in the first place – therefore solving your money problems will seriously get a load off your chest.

I remember my first experience of being an entrepreneur – by joining my first network marketing opportunity.

Many people will work a plan for a few days and then say “it’s not working” and then quite. Don’t give up….your time is being well spent. How to Make the Most Out of Your Lead Generation

Spreading yourself too thin and constantly trying every lead-generating method under the sun can be a massive time-waster. Any expert in the industry will surely tell you that they don’t use 10 different methods to generate their leads. No… they’ve mastered a few different methods and exploited them as much as possible to generate as many leads as they can.

This is not to say that if you’re new to the industry that you shouldn’t try different things. On the contrary… if you don’t, you won’t know what you’re good at, and what works for you. After some experimentation however, take a step back and look at what is working for you. Are you placing classified ads which are generating no leads whatsoever? Well why continue down that path? Choose the one method that is working the best for you, and then MASTER IT. Master it so you can produce as many leads as you want using that method… then move on to and master the next method. Should you never place another classified ad again? No… maybe that’s what you want to focus your attention on next… and so on.

Although not necessary, mastering article or video marketing will be highly beneficial for you. Both methods can be great for generating traffic and leads, and will additionally go to establishing yourself as someone with something to offer, as well as establishing a rapport with your reader or viewer. I have however seen people produce incredible amounts of leads through Twitter, online classified ads, and other social media… so the choice is yours.

Whatever your weapon of choice, you’re also going to eventually want to master Google AdWords. Google will require a decent budget however (Google likes you better if you spend more money), and should not be “experimented” with without a significant initial understanding of the Google beast… it will eat your money without giving you anything in return otherwise. Once you master it however, you’ll be generating the fastest and easiest leads you ever have. If you’re new to the industry leave Google out of the equation unless you have the money to spend, and someone to help you and make sure you’re not going to lose your money.

Lead Generation – Free Leads And How

What is all this talk about leads?  More importantly, how do I get them?  Even more importantly, how do I generate free leads?  You guessed it, this article is about leads, lead generation and of course, free leads  for your business.

“The money is in the list.”  How many times have you heard that?  To tell you the truth when I was fairly new to network marketing I grew sick and tired of hearing that.  Partly because I had no idea how to generate leads and even more so, I had no idea why they were so important.  So let’s start with that.  Why are leads so important?

Did you know it takes the average person seven exposures to a product before they will consider buying it?  That means you need to place your product or affiliate link in front of most people seven times before you even come close to making a sale.  Let me ask you this, how many people are promoting the same product or business as you?  Chances are, a whole lot.

You should also know that people hate to be sold, but they do love to buy.  The only catch is, people usually buy from people they like and trust.  People are emotional buyers.  So we now have two hurdles to overcome; positioning our product in front of them numerous times and gaining their trust.  How is that even possible?  Short answer, a lead list and an autoresponder.

Let me be clear here, though.  I’m not talking about buying leads.  You see, when you buy leads you are buying emails that, number one, may not be active and number two have been sold to hundreds if not thousands of other people.  This is not going to create any amount of trust and if you are lucky enough to have the person even open one of your emails it does nothing for constant exposure.

Now think about people opting in to YOUR list.  These are people that say to you personally, yes I want more information.  Yes, I want to receive your newsletter.  They are saying yes to you.  Point one in the trust category.

OK, so you have an idea about why leads are important.  Now on to the bigger question, how do you generate leads or even better, free leads?  It’s actually a bit easier than you might think.

Every autoresponder comes with a form generator.  Yes, you are going to need an autoresponder.  But don’t worry, they are inexpensive and they will let you automate your business.  It works even when you don’t.  Now, this form is magical.  It is!  Because you can place that form in so many different places.  And you want to do that, you want that form everywhere.

Where are some places you can put a form?  Facebook?  You bet!  Search for “HTML profile box” on Facebook.  Stick your form right in there!  Not many people are doing this and it will put you 10 steps ahead of the crowd.  Your blog?  Oh yes!  Even free blogs allow you to edit the HTML.  Put your form at the top of your blog, perhaps under your about me section, and then place one under each post.  Articles?  Most certainly!  When you put your article on your web page, put an opt in box right at the bottom.  If you are providing good content, and get people curious, they will opt right in.

Get creative, and give people every chance possible to learn about you by opting into your list.  But I have to warn you, generating leads, even free leads, is only a part of the battle.  You see, now that they are on your list you want them to stay on your list.  The only way you will be able to monetize that list is if they keep reading your emails.  There are two ways of doing this.

First, invest in some copywriting training.  You want those subject lines to capture their attention.  And you want to keep their attention throughout the message.  These emails are going out to hundreds and even thousands of people, but you want them to sound very personal.  Like you are chatting with them one on one.  We won’t go into copywriting now, but if you want a great book on the subject take a look at Joe Vitale’s books on Hypnotic Writing.  Fantastic books.

Second, you want to provide them with useful, valuable content.  You don’t have to try and sell to them every single email.  Give them tips, facts, useful information and even free products.  Maybe a free e-book, or a link to a YouTube video on a particular subject.  You want to give without want.  By doing that you will get without need.  Be kind to your list.  When you do ask them to buy something make sure that it is useful and solves their problems.  Then, you are not selling, you are helping.  And that makes a world of difference.

What is Pay Per Click (PPC) Advertising? And is it For Me?

With so much going on with the internet today it can be difficult to keep up. You may know a little bit about Pay Per Click Advertising but looking to learn more.  This article is intended to help you fill in the gaps, learn how it works, and learn whether you or your company should take advantage of this type of advertising.

We all know that there are millions of people online everyday using the internet for everything you could ever imagine…personal banking, finding a nanny, shopping for a new TV, learning how to scrapbook…the list just goes on and on.

I think its safe to say that everyone on a computer has probably used the Google search engine. You simply type in a query into the search box, and “poof” its like magic, the page fills up with relevant information about what you just typed in. As someone that uses Google, you couldn’t be happier. Every thing that you were looking for is just a mouse click away.

Here is were the lesson starts. Lets say someone is getting married and needs to find a photographer so they type in the word “wedding photographer” into the Google search box. A new page will load and you will be looking at what is called “organic” links or website listed down the middle of the page (in black type) and you will also see links on the top (sometimes), and always on the right hand side 4 line ads in blue that you can also click on. The blue text ads are what is called “paid advertising” or “sponsored ads”. No one is telling you which link to click, it is completely up to you. The power of PPC is that anyone in a matter of hours can be advertising on the first page of Google using paid advertising. This is not the case with “organic” websites. ”Organic” placement can take months, and sometimes even years to get on the first page. In essence you are paying your way onto the first page of Google when you use “paid advertising”.

That brings me to the next point. Who pays and how does that all work? Well, the person who is responsible for placing that ad (the blue one) is the one paying.  Every time someone decides to click on your ad, you (the advertiser) will pay for that click. Lets say no one clicks on your ad, then you pay nothing. The only time you will pay is when someone actually clicks on your ad and they are taken to your website. You are essentially paying a small price to ensure visitors to your website (so make sure you have a killer website that closes the deal for you!).

What is the cost per click? Well, there is a range that people pay and it all depends on just how competitive the keyword is that you are bidding on. The range can be as low as .20 cents a click all of the way up to 6,7,8 sometimes 12 dollars a click on some very, very competitive keywords. I would say a realistic range is .60 cents to $2 a click if you don’t have a wide open budget. The bottom line is you decide what keywords to bid on, and if a keyword is too expensive, just go and find a new one. The best part is there is an interface or a back-office that helps you stay organized and keeps track of the cost, the numbers, the keywords, your bid price, etc. The system, whether it be Google or someone else will provide all of its advertisers with a management area where all of your numbers will be tracked and secure. You just have to decide what keywords you want to bid on and what the maximum amount you will pay per click. Now, the question is, “Is this a good way to spend advertising dollars?” Well, that is highly debatable. The undeniable truth is you will have laser targeted views of your advertisement. What I mean is, as a photographer you are only going to bid on keywords that are relevant to your industry. For example: photographer, professional photographer, wedding photographer, best photographer, etc. When you bid on those specific keywords your ad will show up when someone types any of those words into the search box. That is what I mean by a laser targeted view. There really is no other type of advertising out there that provides this sort of “supply and demand” advertising platform. The person that has typed in “wedding photographer” is clearly looking to find a wedding photographer, and what better place to have an advertisement if you in fact are a wedding photographer. It doesn’t get much better than that!

Now Google is not the only place that you can do paid advertising. There are other search engines like MSN and Yahoo that also offer the same advertising opportunity. And more recently, Facebook and YouTube have joined the game and offer Paid Advertising space.

Pay Per Click is growing in its popularity, but the most important advise I could possibly provide is to educate yourself. You now know the basics…the difference between “organic” and “paid” and where to find them. You also understand that you can bypass the challenges of website SEO (search engine optimization) and pay to get on the first page of any search query. And you understand that Pay Per Click means exactly that.
