Top ten easy ways to make money online

August 16th, 2011

There are a ton of online business opportunities that you can join and use their system to start your own business and make money online. In fact, there are so many that it can be very difficult to choose one. Some are better than others but it’s hard to say which the “best” are because it depends on so many individual factors. What one person thinks is the best online business opportunity another person will not.

1.   Create Twitter backgrounds and e-covers.

Competition is stiff, but if you are a savvy designer, this is a good way to pick up extra dollars. Even better, if you are an artist, this is a good way to make your art skills pay off. Consider that every design will need to have a reason why the customer should buy the book or follow that person on Twitter to have a real impact. Twitter backgrounds, in particular, are in hot demand right now.

2.   Interview other people and sell the interviews.

Create a small website and sell the interview. There’s more to this, including having good copywriting skills so your website sells the interview well, and knowing where to advertise, so don’t expect to immediately pull in hundreds of dollars. That said, it’s a neat way to quickly create a product. Get the interviews transcribed, and then string a few interviews in the same industry together as a membership site or bundle that you can sell for more money.

3.    Selling e-books

E-books are electronic versions of printed material that can contain text, sound, and images. New trends are the audio books. No one can guarantee you will become a millionaire by selling e-books online, but it is fully possible to earn a very nice income. Some people have a home business and work from home selling e-books from their websites.

4.   Help local businesses develop an online presence.

]]>

Local businesses are struggling. Many have websites, but aren’t getting any results from them. Others don’t have websites at all. You can help by learning search engine optimization, how to set up an email list, and more, and then implementing these for local businesses. If you typically hang around geeks, web marketers, or the Web 2.0 crowd, you may be surprised how many business owners are 10 years (or more) behind you! If you can deliver results, business owners will happily pay. Find customers by going door-to-door.

5.   Enter logo and design contests.

Fancy yourself a good designer? Try your hand at creating a logo or other design that a company loves. Beware, however; you won’t get paid unless your logo wins against many others, which makes many designers unhappy. In my opinion, this is a great way for a budding designer to build a portfolio and learn quickly what clients love.

 6.   Write articles

If you understand the basics of keyword research, you can make a good monthly income from articles writing. You can crank out a few articles a day with relative ease. Try this for a month; assuming your article titles match up with what people are searching for in Google, you can make a significant income. The great news is that you write your articles once and get paid month after month. I’ve seen figures of $100-$150/month for 30 articles.

7.   Sell stock photos.

IStock photo is just one site that allows you to sell stock photos; there are others. Before you decide to go crazy and upload your whole album, take note of what’s selling well and try your hand at doing something similar. IStockPhoto also works for those who know how to render images; some of their most popular images were created on a computer! Have three killer stock photos ready for stockpot’s inspection; they will want them when you sign up.

 8.   Sell stuff on eBay.

Start by selling your own extra stuff. Then, once you get a feel for selling your extra stuff, go door-to-door in nicer neighborhoods in your town. Develop an eye for what will sell and what won’t (old laptops, for instance, could be a gold mine–if you know how to format them to get rid of the previous owner’s personal data.) Sign a contract where you take 25-30% (or more) of the gross sale. Your customers will be happy to get cash for their old junk, and you’ll make some good money selling other people’s stuff.

 9.    Make Money Blogging

If you are making money from your own websites that you have researched and created around specific niches then you will most likely be called an internet marketer. If you make money blogging about a certain topic then you will most likely be called a pro blogger. Some people use these terms interchangeably, and often they are right, but it is not necessarily the case. Just because you are an internet marketer does not necessarily mean you are a blogger, and vice versa. Yes, you can be both, and many people are, but many people also are not.

 10.  Freelance Work

There are tons of website owners, bloggers, internet marketers, developers, companies, and just regular people who need various things done for them and are willing to pay someone to do it. If you have a certain skill then you can get paid to do this freelance work for other people. A few examples of freelance work you can do is content writing, article writing, customer support, programming, coding, web design, data entry, translation, marketing, and much more. The opportunities for a freelancer are plentiful.

3 Ways to make money blogging by lee frankis

March 4th, 2011

Here are 3 different ways to make money blogging;

1. Advertise on your blog

Advertising on your blog is probably the most obvious methods when considering how to make money from blogging. It’s also one of the easiest methods to implement, especially when using a blogger.com blog. Google owns blogger and also runs an advertising solution for a blogger such as yourself, called Google Adsense.

The key with advertising as your main revenue source, is being able to gain a lot of page views and regular hits in the thousands per day. This is a difficult task to say the least, you also have to consider that on top of writing lots of cool original content that people want to read, you also need to promote your website, and optimize it for search engines.

You can find more information on how to promote and optimize your blog on the free blog tutorials page.

2. Earn Money Online With Affiliate Marketing

This method is popular because the payout per click can be much higher than advertising methods. This method involves using an affiliate program such as clickbank, to find and promote vendors products, in turn receiving commission of up to 75% upon the sale of a product which was referred by you.

The way this works is once you have signed up for clickbank as an affiliate and receive your clickbank id, you can create hoplinks. These hoplinks are essentially links to the vendors product page with an encrypted code that lets clickbank know the traffic came from you. If a user on your website clicks the hoplink you have created and then they go on to buy that vendors product, then you receive the commission.

3. Join a Paid Blogging Program

Paid blogging programs such as payperpost offer bloggers the opportunity to write paid reviews on their blog. These reviews are paid by advertisers looking for someone to write a paid, and therefore positive review.

It’s really simple to set up, just join one of the paid blogging programs (payperpost is the best) and then wait. You will be hired to write reviews and articles by advertisers on the site based on many factors. Things like how many visitors your blog gets is definitely up there, as well as your fan base/followers and the quality of the content on your blog.

For more information on all of the three ways to make money blogging mentioned above then head on over to the free blog tutorials page.

3 Ways to Make Money Blogging Part-2

February 19th, 2011

Let’s face it, nowadays we always try to find ways to earn fast and easy money – it has become a much desired goal to do so. With the birth of the Internet that desired goal had become achievable. The evolution of the internet has brought so many avenues for people to earn money from the comfort of their own home. People started selling products online; accepting jobs that allowed them to work online and all they needed to do was to submit their work online too.

The latest craze now for making money online is by blogging. What is blogging? Blogging is basically writing about anything and everything under the sun and posting your work on a blog site like blogspot.com or wordpress.com. It all started when people wanted to share their thoughts and share the experiences on the internet. People would religiously write and post on their blogs every day. Then major companies saw this as an avenue to gain more exposure and traffic to their websites.

There are a million ways to earn money blogging, but we will only focus on the top 3. The first way to earn money blogging is to get paid to blog topics you like writing about, be it fashion, automotives or even books. The important thing about being paid to blog is that you need to make sure you have good content. All you need to do is start a blog and submit your blog to companies who are looking for bloggers and, if they like your content, they hire you to be one of their bloggers.

Once hired, you will be assigned to write reviews on certain stuff and they will pay you probably for every blog post/article you create. We will now move on to the next way to earn money via blogging. It’s a very common way to earn money blogging and bloggers who have been blogging for quite some time now know about this method of earning money – to place banner advertisements and text advertisements on your blog, although you will need approval to do so and the only way you’ll get approval is if, once again, you have good content. No company would want their logo or advertisement on a blog that has poor content. The third way to make money blogging is to do affiliate marketing.

Sounds difficult? It’s actually quite easy. It might be the easiest way to make money affiliate marketing. The basic gist of affiliate marketing is to get a good offer from a merchant and, after doing that, you’ll need to find ways to get traffic to their site/page. So you’ll have to come up with ways to promote and advertise whatever the merchant needs you to write on your blog. Make sure you don’t just blog about anything, filter out the products and services and make sure they are of quality and can be trusted, because if you advertise and promote poor services and bad products your name and your blog will be the one to pay for it, since you are basically the one who referred people to the company and/or product.

3 Ways to Make Money Blogging With Your Computer

January 3rd, 2011

If you have started a blog, and want to take it to the next level by creating an income with it, there are some steps you can take to become successful. In this article let’s take a look at a few ways you can make money blogging using your computer.

Blogging is becoming the mainstream with many computer users. This is a great way to offer your expertise and keep an updated log of information you want to present to others.

1. If you are interested in how to make money blogging you can start with Google AdSense. This is a pay per click service so the advertiser only pays if their ad is clicked on and the blog owner makes a portion of the profit.

Choosing a keyword that is more popular is essential to making this type of business work. Today much of the emphasis is put on blogging using long tail keyword phrases.

For example, in the past if you had an Internet marketing blog you might type the words “Internet marketing” as your blog title. However, if you want to rank higher with the search engines, and make more money with Google ads, today you might use a longer phrase such as “Internet marketing business opportunities.”

2. Another tip on how to make money blogging is to sign up with Amazon. They were one of the first affiliate marketing programs and continue to be a great way to make money with your computer.

This offer a great service where you can pick any product from their gigantic inventory and you promote it on your blog. You then make a commission on any product that sells.

You should pick a product that ties in with your blog content. This will keep your blog flowing and it will be easier to navigate for consumers.

3. You can also sell ad space on your blog. This is a great way if you’re wondering how to make money blogging.

If your blog is popular enough you can make a considerable amount of money by selling ad space. As a matter of fact it will be possible for blog owners to make a six figure income just selling advertising space as more businesses and corporations enter the blog advertising market.

There are many options when it comes to how to make money blogging. If you do some research, and deal with reputable companies, you can have a successful future with your blog. The key is to monetize it in several ways and then work hard to get traffic to it.

3 Proven Ways To Make Money Blogging

May 11th, 2010

There are a number of ways in which you can make money blogging with some of the more popular methods listed in my last article 3 ways to make money blogging.Today Im going to share with you a couple more ways you can make money blogging that are quick and easy to get started with.First off, if you have a lot of content on your blog you can use a method called contextual advertising or text link ads. These are basically links to other peoples stuff on other websites / blogs that another company or person is willing to pay a cost per click or impression of the text link. The cost of the link depends on the agency they purchase the text links through. However as you would be hosting the text links on your blog, you would be paid a commission from the agency. Sometimes this is based on impressions (number of times a text link is displayed to a reader) or click throughs (the number of times reader click on the link).Text link ads are usually displayed as a clickable link thats highlighted to make it stand out in the content of your blogs page. There are loads of text ad link companies for you to choose from and I recommend Text Link Ads..Another way to make money blogging is to use banner advertising on your blog, where the banner contains your affiliate link to some one elses product. You get paid every time some one makes a purchase of the product you are sending your visitors to via the banner. To do well from this type of advertising you again need high volumes of traffic, as due to the over use of banners on websites and blogs, readers now tend to ignore them. This brings me to the next method to make money blogging which is to sell direct advertising space on your blog, you can do this by using a theme that has advertising box built in or you can use a plugin that adds advertising space to your side bars. This method of advertising can be quite lucrative especially if you have a lot of visitors or traffic. You should be able to charge more for the advertising space if your blog is targeted at a specific niche as your advertisers will then be able to better target their ads and increase there ROI.The thing to remember when looking at ways to make money blogging is not try and use every possible strategy, as your blog will look really cluttered and you will have to many ways for your readers to be distracted from your content.Another aspect to be wary of when looking at ways to maximise your blogs income is to make sure that the strategies you employ have the biggest return on investment for you. By this I mean its pointless if you over use one method of blog monetisation such as text links plastered all over your blog which takes your reader attention away from say a quality product review, which would pay you more commission if one of our readers bought the product.

3 Ways to Make Money Blogging

March 2nd, 2010

You own a blog with a good page rank and decent traffic, but now you want to make money blogging. You want to capitalize on all your hard work and effort, but how exactly, do you make money blogging? There are undoubtedly many ways to make money with a blog, but affiliate marketing is probably the most well known method to start bringing in the cash.

So, what is affiliate marketing? Affiliate marketing is a method employed by businesses to drive traffic to their websites. When the owner of a website or blog signs up for an affiliate program, the business then assigns a tracking code, text or banner system to the affiliate to place on their website. When a person goes to the blog or website and clicks the link provided, the affiliate program begins tracking the visitors actions. If the visitor proceeds to buy something from the business, a percentage of the sale goes to you.

1. Clickbank

Clickbank features hundreds of eBooks for you to promote. You simply browse their online catalog for various eBooks by topic. When you find something you like, Clickbank supplies you with a tracking code, just like any other affiliate program. You place a link on your blog and the affiliate program tracks any sales generated by your lead.

2. SwordWares.com

SwordWares.com supplies text links and banners to it’s affiliates. Any sales generated from a click-through will land the affiliate 10% in sales profit.

3. Blogitive

Blogitive is a popular method bloggers are using to make money blogging. The site is actually run as an advertising service offered to businesses. A business usually pays around $20 to use the service, and then as a blog owner, you pick an ad to make $5 by promoting it on your website. Just be careful with this last method, since I’ve heard certain websites are beginning to ban or delete blogs that blatantly promote ads from blogitive.

Now that we know which services to use, just realize that neither of them are get rich quick schemes. You could just place these links randomly on your site and expect the money to come rolling in … but it’s not likely. To make money blogging, it’s all about sales. People trust personal recommendation more than a blatant sales page, and that is why blogs are such a good sales engine to capitalize on.

Keep in mind that it’s very possible to make enough earnings from affiliate marketing to actually live on. But, also keep in mind that over 90% of affiliates and blog-owners will never reach that kind of success. It takes time, patience, and education.

Instead of just placing a standalone link or banner, it’s usually good to accompany the link with some kind of opinion or buzz surrounding the product or service. If you have experience with the product or services being sold on a site, let it be known. Get people excited about the products you’re trying to sell, and you can certainly expect to make money blogging.
