Is making money on the internet a myth?
If it is – then it’s one that thousands of people believe in. More and more people every day are finding that making a living on the internet is no longer a fantasy.
Here are five ways that people are making money on the internet.
1) Cafepress
Cafepress and sites like it allow you to create a custom line of products such as T-shirts, hats and stickers. All you need to supply is an image! You can set up a virtual storefront for free that sells your products and when someone buys something you make a profit. You don’t have to deal with customers or suppliers and customers will find you even without any promotion of your own.
1) Affiliate marketing
Affiliate marketing is selling other people’s products and making a commission on them. Pretty much anything you can think of is available to sell through this method. It is usually easy and free to sign up as an affiliate. Then you can promote your products through your website or ad campaigns. Commissions for affiliate marketing range up to 70%!
2) Writing ebooks
Everyone has at least one good ebook idea in them. Ebooks are easy to write and can be extremely profitable. It’s usually a good idea to write about something you know well and are familiar with. It’s by no means a requirement though. Once you find a niche topic you can easily and cheaply find someone to ghost write it for you. Once you have a product of your own you can set up your own affiliate program and get other people to sell it for you!
3) Blogging
Blogging is an excellent way to create an internet presence and make money. Blogs are search engine gold and once you start to get some traffic you can make money either through advertising or promoting your own products.
4) Contextual Advertising
Contextual advertising systems like Google Adsense pay you whenever someone clicks on an ad on your website. By analyzing the content of your site the ads will be tailored to fit that content. If your site is about golf you will automatically see golf related advertising show up. Some ads can be very lucrative with markets like insurance, loans and cars bringing in several dollars every time someone clicks on them.
